Privacy
Last updated: 2026-08-09.
What we store
- Your GitHub OAuth identity when you sign in.
- The list of repos you've starred + any saved-but-not-starred repos.
- Your connected public projects, tags, lists, notes, and saved state.
- Legacy likes, comments, and comment votes created before those controls were removed.
- Generated embeddings of starred repos for semantic search.
- Identity-free product events and Web Vitals used to improve reliability.
What we don't
- No private-repo content. We only ever read the starred-repo list, which is already public.
- No advertising profiles or sale of your repository data.
- No repository names or search text in recommendation analytics.
Deletion
Revoke Starboard's GitHub OAuth grant from your GitHub settings to disconnect, or email the maintainer to delete your Starboard data entirely.
